The Advanced Road Surface Information System is what accident prevention is all about. Road conditions change rapidly and require fast interaction by the winter road maintenance crews in the event of potentially hazardous conditions. The ARSIS will send a warning/alarm to the road maintenance crew and/or other personnel if so required.
