| With the OPUS200 data logger, LUFFT - manufacturer of top-end electronic measuring systems for climatic and environmental conditions - is extending its range of high-quality test data recording systems. The OPUS200 system leaves nothing to be desired with regard to connectable sensor mechanisms or the number of measurable variables to be recorded. Another big advantage of the precise 24-bit system is its highly-flexible visualization software, which allows applications to be run both online and in "offline mode". These advantages all add up to the OPUS200 gaining a position of outstanding importance in the sectors of industrial test value recording and environmental testing technology. | ||||
| The hardware is structured
in a so-called "risk-sharing technology", i.e. the whole system
consists of autonomous 2-channel modules, which communicate via a CAN-bus.
Each 2-channel module has its own memory, microprocessor and real-time clock
(synchronization via data bus) therewith guaranteeing greatest possible
failure safety and an absolutely reliable performance. The modules are also
optionally available as dc-decoupled versions. |

All industrial standard signals such as current or voltage can be connected to the OPUS200 module; frequencies and impulses can also be recorded, PT100 and PT1000 as well as thermo elements can be connected directly to the module. An intelligent sensor can also be connected to each module via the standard RS232-interface. Each channel can be separately configured with regard to test and storage frequencies. Scan rates up to 10 test values per second are possible. | |||
| Besides operation via mains power
supply, the low power consumption means that the modules can also be operated
via solar-cells.
Every OPUS200-module has two built-in relays for alarm functions at limit value overrun. The "ì-version" also has a current output (0 - 20 mA or 4 - 20 mA), which can be used to program continuous-action controllers. The data transfer can take place via RS232, GSM, base band radio or telephone. SMS alarms via GSM are also possible. The evaluation software SmartControl for Windows allows a practically unlimited number of visualization possibilities. The user can program his display to meet his own requirements and any number of additional calculations can be provided for. Simultaneous programming of both centralized and decentralized visualizations (e.g. for progress monitoring) is no problem thanks to the OPUS200's RS232-interface. Where problem formulations call for ultimate accuracy coupled with greatest
possible flexibility, the OPUS200 is the solution of choice. With its
built-in expansion and adaptation capabilities the OPUS200 is also already
equipped for whatever the future may bring. |
